have 4 photos on memory card taken with cellphone camera. I remove card and
insert it into the sandisk adaptor, then plug-in to click-lock insert on
side of
laptop and laptop does nothing. no new device, nothing to click to download
photos
from sandisk to my photo file. I have formatted the card and set the phone
to save
photos to memory card .The laptop doesn't see anything . Whats wrong ?

Maybe it's an SDHC card and you could have a
compatibility issue if the adaptor is older and not
SDHC compliant.

Do you have a cable that will connect the phone
to the PC? You may be able to download from there.

If you insert the adaptor in a USB slot with the card
inserted and go to...Start / My Computer...is the
adaptor recognized as a drive letter?

If_Yes_you may be able to download from there.

Otherwise...you may need a more current adaptor.
