From: Jeffrey Kaplan on 26 May 2010 17:29 Using Elements 7 in Win7 x64. I'm trying to create a slideshow with music. I have approximately 100 images sized and ordered to go, and I'm trying to set a 9 minute 128kbs mp3 as the soundtrack. The problem is, Elements keeps telling me that it cannot read the mp3 file because there is no codec installed for the format on the computer. There most certainly IS a codec for mp3 on this computer! I can play mp3 files with Windows Media Player, Winamp, iTunes, etc. I can edit them with Audacity, and I was able to create the very same slideshow with no production issues with PhotoStage (though I'm not too happy with the resulting video quality). I cannot find any options in the settings for fix this. How do I fix it? -- Jeffrey Kaplan www.gordol.org Double ROT13 encoded for your protection DISCLAIMER: Beware of dog. |
