Bought a 5 pak of 120 format C-41 Kodak "Ektacolor 160 NC" with a
Sep-2007 expiry date for a few $ yesterday.

Anybody know this film? Is it a predecessor to Portra 160 NC?

Thanks,
Alan

I've used that film Alan. It is meant indeed for portraits. Wedding
photographers used it a lot as it is very true to natural skin tones.
It renders a softer finish rather than conventional sharp/harshness
tones of ordinary films.

I tried to email you an example of this film with a couple of pics,
but my email was returned.

I get that. What I really want to know is: is it the predecessor to
Portra 160 NC which is a magnificent film for portraiture and weddings.

I've shot over a 100 rolls of 160 NC, it is my favourite for color
portraits and it scans very well compared to most other negative film.

Cheers,
Alan.
