Good shots. The first one is composed well except for the railing in
the bottom left corner. You should have cropped that out. Good
scene, good color.

The second one is weak because the rocky cliff dominates the photo and
there's not much interest there. Too much foreground of all-the-same
looking beach and little, tiny dots of people.

Try for shots with something of interest to anchor your shot. A
family on the beach, wind-blown beach umbrellas, a kid playing in the
surf...something of interest. The beach is a background, not a
subject.
