There is a filter called "Ripleyer" (http://www.freephotoshop.com/html/rorshack.html) which produces a "TV Scanline" effect, i.e, horizontal bars with adjustable size/color.

I have tried to install it on Photoshop CS2 Middle East Version 9.0 on Windows XP. I have put it in the Plug-Ins folder as instructed, but when I start Photoshop, I don't see it in the "Filters" menu.

Can anyone help me installing this filter?

Another professional quality alternative (preferably free) is ok. I wish not the "Halftone Pattern" trick. I need a filter with adjustable attributes
