Mountain Fun-Guy
This was an interesting find, growing on the remains of a burnt-stump after a large forest fire devastated the mountain-pass it was found in. The coin placed on it is a quarter, for a size reference. <http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4148/4846112569_f1b80f8ce8_b.jpg> [After taking all artsy-fartsy shots, it's ... 3 Aug 2010 18:06

Another 'Found' Waterfall
This one spotted deep in "The Bob Marshall Wilderness" where I explored the region for about 3 months one summer, living off the land during most of those months. (Camera gear charged by folding solar-panels.) Heavy snows started to fall in front of this waterfall adding to its picturesque quality. Also taken in ... 4 Aug 2010 15:51
Waterfall on Mt. Rainier
While hiking around Mr. Rainer (for a few weeks, and eventually climbing to the top), discovered these unnamed unmarked falls back behind a saddle in a deep ravine. <http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4112/4845103561_0c2571919f_b.jpg> LOL! ... 31 Jul 2010 18:25

Bulb photography with digital?
I haven't shot film in several years, but I really enjoyed the effects possible using the Bulb feature on my old A1. Do the new digital SLR's have this feature and if so, does it differ from a film camera. (If at all) ... 31 Jul 2010 18:25
Looking before Leaping....Fuji HS10.....???
Don't mean to start any border wars here but have a sneaking suspicion this post might. Sorry about that in advance. A little background history : Been into nature and general photography since I snagged my first Minolta STR-201back in the 70's. Obtained some decent glass and upgraded to a Maxxum 9000. More Brit anti-terror lunacy, or, why people with IQ's of 70 shouldn't carry badges
Amateur Photographer: An amateur photographer, who requires a carer, was stunned when security guards threatened to call anti-terror police over his photos of the Liverpool docks. Mike Evans said guards told him he was not allowed to use DSLRs outside the city's Echo Arena, but that if he used a compact came... 3 Aug 2010 08:11
