Nothing bashful about him. Advises Bush to increase the deficit, start two
wars and then blames the following administration for the resulting
budgetary deficit.

Also, Rove works for Fox as a "political consultant". and news stations are
very reluctant to talk about the personal problems of their own guys.....I
remember trying to find out what happened to John Marler a few years
ago....I ran into dead ends everywhere....He and Rebecca Marshall were
married, and were a news anchor team for ABC (I think) and one day, he
suddenly disappeared....No explanation, no apparent reason.....He just
suddenly was no longer there, and nobody would tell me why or where he
went....It was as if he had never existed.....I found out later that he was
working for a station back East somewhere, but I never found out why he
broke up with Becky....

Well, he's a conservative, so what do you expect? I am a conservative too,
and I too blame the Democrats for the budgetary deficit. Not that the Bush
administration didn't spend too much money, but its the political philosophy
of the Democrats to tax and spend like there's no tomorrow, and to force the
banks to lend money to the poor whether they can pay it back or
not..........I pass it off by saying that Bush was no
conservative.....Certainly he spent money like a drunken democrat......:^)
But you will have to admit, when it comes to spending money, there is no
equal to Nancy Pelosi.....She is going to drive all of us into the
poorhouse.......

Are you saying conservative = double standard. :-)

It wouldn't surprise me if the Bush spending wasn't with full knowledge that
they would lose in 2008 and tailored to make the Dems look like the bad
guys.

Fortunately, there are strong center Democrats who will stand up against
that policy and both Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are smart enough to realize
it. Pelosi doesn't run the country and Obama is turning out to be more of a
centrist than most thought. In real life, like most politicians, she says
one thing while acting differently. (As an aside, a good friend of mine had
a $75,00 a year part time job, under the Republicans. The Dems won the
county election and the new supervisor requested he resign because in they
were looking to abolish part time positions. His job was filled by two full
timers each being paid $125,00.

When our Congress is strong enough to stand up to the drug companies and
enact legislation permitting Medicare to negotiate prices, I will have a lot
more respect for our political process. Until then I say both sides are FOS.

Good luck with that.....Unfortunately, the insurance companies have grown so
big that I am afraid that no one can stop them. Certainly Obama should have
let those few die when he had the chance......Interfering with the natural
selection process is never a good idea......
