I got my "new" Speed Graphic on Sat and looked at everything ---
except the bottom.
There is no thread! No way to mount it on a tripod!
Just a nice clean round hole in the bottom where it ought to be.

Anyone got some parts?

If I recall the tripod mount is an assembly that consiste of a small
externally threaded busing and a nut to secure it. And of course a
threaded hole for the tripod screw. They probably were available in
both 1/4" X 20 and 3/8" X 16. I would make one on my lathe. Perhaps
you have a frind with a lathe. If not buy a clunker Speed Graphic and
rob the part.

I've looked around for a used part, but I'm having trouble locating
one.
But I found a temporary solution.
Got some cheap zinc T nuts @ Home Depot.
I flattened out the pins that would normally embed themselves into
wood.
It's long enough (5/16) to be reached by a tripod or quick-release
post.
The only issue with these is their lack of durability. The threads
strip easily.
It's held in place by tension right now because I'm keeping a 3270
plate
in place permanently. That will prevent any stripping problem for the
duration.
Tomorrow I'm going to another h/w store to see about something
heftier.

Next to get a yellow filter for my Caltar HR 210/5.6.
